Hi,
hope you can help. I downloaded Pylon as a Trialversion and
I cannot solve the problem, that everytime all calendar data
from my Treo650 are totally sychronized with Lotus 7.0.2 I
only want to sychronize the last 2 month and the following
40days. And not all data since 2001. I can set the filter to
the wishes, but ist does not work and every time all data
are given to the empty Lotus calendar. Even when I am
deleting the unwanted data they are added again next time.

Would be nice to get a quick hint, because the testing time
is nearly at the end.

Regards
Dirk

Hello,

If this is related to Pylon Desktop, then see below for some tips:

a.) Go through the Desktop User Guide file located within the Pylon Help
folder in
the Start Menu. Here you will find how to program the filter to only sync
the wanted timeframe.
b.) What is the Action within the Pylon Configuration? If you want the info
from the PDA to move to PC, then change the Action to 'Handheld overwrites
desktop'. If you want the PC to be the main source of information then you
will want to use the 'Desktop overwrites handheld' Action. This is
suggested within the User Guide. Once you get a complete sync in one
direction, then you can proceed to change the Action to 'Synchronize the
files'.
c.) You can go back to the dates in the past and remove them from the PDA or
PC to ensure that they are not transferred. Since they are so far in the
past they may not be important.

Regards,
-Craig

Hi Dirk,

Can you please check the following settings in the Pylon Admin Console:

- Profile Settings -> Pylon Anywhere -> Default (right click)
- Under the Performance tab, change calender to 60 days in the past.
- Click apply and close.

- Profile Settings -> PIM -> Default (right click)
- select "device cleanup", and change the number to 60 days.
- click apply and close.

Make sure the client settings on the device are the same after the next
sync.

Hope this helps,

Bryan Horn
