Hello!

I have an application client development in Power Builder (PB) 9.0.1 Build
7236 and later migrated to PB 10.5.1 Build 6627

I am using RMI/IIOP to connect PB with an EJB deploy in WAS 6.1.0.7 with
global security enabled, the active authentication mechanism is LTPA and
LDAP is the active user registry.

The application in PB 9.0 and migrated to PB 10.5 run correctly with WAS
5.0.2.18 but with WAS 6.1 I get an error.

I think that the problem is around sas.client.props and ssl.client.props.

I attach the logs files.

Additional information:

WAS 6.1 SO: Windows 2000 Professional SP 4
WAS 6 version: 6.1.0.7
In the client I have installed WebSphere Application Client V6.1.

Thanks

we're not there yet (WAS 6) so i can only help guessing

- all required startup properties are passed to the JRE? (registry setting)
- contents of those property files is sound? (take sample java client)
- google this NG, some other people have connected to WAS6
- maybe extra JVM logging could help

good luck (and keep us posted)

Ben
