i downloaded SQL Anyware 9.0 which included Sybase Central
(4.3.0.2404). Using Sybase Central on Windows XP SP2, when i
attempt to connect to an ASE 12.5 database i get this error
dialog box:

"information required to display database in sybase central
could not be obtained"

any thoughts on how to resolve the error would be
appreciated.

Mark

Sybase Central that ships with ASA does not include the ASE plugin. The
error occurs due to the fact that the ASA and ASE system tables, used by
SC, are not the same.
