I'm evaluating Afaria and I thought that I've found
something very strange. Any help is welcome.
This is the scenario, where you'll be in big trouble after
1) Install client on PocketPC
2) Set some rule for the chanel (ie : add login screen)
3) Sync the PocketPC
4) Go on PocketPC, and remove the Afaria client
Now, I'm no more able to install the Afaria client on
PocketPC, and also not able to remove rules. In my exemple,
Afaria is desinstalled from PocketPC, but I've still the
login screen of Afaria, with password defined on admin
server, and I can't remove this login screen!
My question is how to remove rules deployed by Afaria on
PocketPC when Afaria is no more installed on this PocketPC ?

Assuming you referring to a Security Manager channel that you've created
and actually run on the device, and Security Manager is installed. The
Security Manager client is designed to be un-installable by a user on
the device. Security Manager can only be removed via a channel created
by the Afaria administrator. If you've removed the Afaria client, you
will need hard reset the device to remove the Security Manager components.
