I am trying to convert an application that I have to
Powerbuilder 11. In previous version of the application I
was using funcky32.dll to encrypt and decrypt passwords to
be stored on an oracle database. I am currently on PB 6.5
and it works find, however in Powerbuilder 11, the decrypt
does not seem to be working properly.

Anybody have any ideas on what I can do, to return the same
values that PB6.5 returned?

Funcky most likely is not expecting any Unicode strings...

Try changing the function declaration to use ;Ansi like this one:

Function integer gethostname(Ref string name, integer namelen &
) Library "ws2_32.dll" Alias for "gethostname;Ansi"

The ;Ansi tells PB that the function is expecting Ansi string instead of
Unicode.
