Will the below command only allow 10 simultaneous
connections to Mobilink Server?

start dbmlsrv9 -c "DSN=Franchisee_Consolidated" -zu+ -ot
mlserver.log -os 10M -w 10 -x -cn 10
tcpip(security=rsa_tls(certificate_password=test;certificate=ml4server.crt))
-x http(port=5000)

What will happen to additional connections? With 300
possible connections, how can I ensure that the same 10 will
not always connect?

The -cn value has to be one greater than the value of -w. One connection is
used internally by ML server (ie. not for uploads/downloads).

Setting -w to 10 means 10 remotes will processed, the rest of the remotes
will be queued. I believe the queue is First-in-first-out so I don't think
the same 10 remotes could starve the remaning remotes.

Btw, since you are posting a number of MobiLink and SQL Anywhere related
questions I would suggest using the forums dedicated to Mobilink or
SQLAnywhere. See <http://www.ianywhere.com/support/newsgroups.html>
