I have setup the replication agent and DCO between to
replicate data bi-directinally. I have create/marked tha
tables and created corresponding defs and sub's. But, it
still refuses to replicate data from Oracle to SYbase. Any
idea, what may be missing. I ran ra_statistics and found
following:
ra_statistics and it gave following:

LR Total operations skipped 23476

It's skipping all the operations and transactions.

Thanks,
Anil

I haven't worked with heterogenous replication but your problem sounds similar to an ownership issue that causes the
same problems in Sybase-to-Sybase replication ...

sp_setreptable (pdb_setreptable ?) has an 'owner' option, ie, is the table owner's name sent with the table name?

create replication definition allows an optional 'owner' to be prefixed to the table name.

sp_setreptable/pdb_setreptable and 'create replication definition' must be in sync if/when referencing the table owner,
ie ...

- if sp_setreptable/pdb_setreptable does not use the 'owner' option, but the repdef includes the owner name, then data
won't be replicated

- if sp_setreptable/pdb_setreptable does use the 'owner' option, but the repdef does not include the owner name, then
data won't be replicated

- if sp_setreptable/pdb_setreptable does not use the 'owner' option, and the repdef does not include the owner, then
your data should be replicated

- if sp_setreptable/pdb_setreptable does use the 'owner' option, and the repdef does include the owner name, then your
data should be replicated

Soooo, what does 'sp_setreptable/pdb_setreptable <table_name>' show in terms of ownership ... enabled (send owner name)
or disabled (don't send owner name)? And what does your repdef look like ... owner included, or owner not included?

Mark,
I have checked both refdef and pdb_setreptable. I didn't
use 'owner' in either of them. I have also checked the
parameter which cause the maintenance user transactions to
be skipped and changed it to forward the maintenance user
transactions. Still no luck.
Thanks,

Try turning on the traces (trace LTITRACELTL, true, among others) to get
as much detail as possible about what is going on.
