What version of our database are you using?
What is the error message you get?
Can you describe how you are setting up this service?

Thanks

network service using the services utility in sybase
central. That message was that i don't have permission to use
windows services.

Welcome to Vista. If you are not using a Vista-compliant ASA (ie recent
9.0.2 EBF or 10.0.1) you will need to run dbsvc or Sybase Central from
an elevated shell. Creating/starting/stopping/deleting services requires
administrative permissions.
