We have DbRemote working with a consolidated database. If we
have triggers at the client side (publisher), will we need
the same triggers active on the consolidated side
(subscriber)?

By default, trigger actions do not replicate. So, if you have written a
trigger at the remote that does "X" and you want that to happen at the
consolidated as well, you will either need to create the same trigger at the
consolidated, or choose to replicate trigger actions with the -t switch on
dbremote. Note that choosing to replicate trigger actions is a design
decision, and not something you throw into the mix during production.

By default DBRemote does not replicate trigger actions. It expects the
same trigger to exist and both sides and therefore "replicates" only the
statement that fires the trigger.

Take these examples:
We have a client table with payment and charges summary
columns. These columns are updated via a trigger each time a
new payment or charge is added to each respective table.
Will the updated values be sent via dbremote or will I have
to have the corresponding triggers on the consolidated side
for these 2 tables to update the summary table?

Deletes: I have a table that deletes records based on
another table. Same question?

Does Mobilink work this same way?

Bottom line question, does the transaction log, log all
actions regardless of whether it originated by user direct
action or trigger and does this get overlook in replication?
Hope this makes sense.
