Hi All,
I am using Sybase development kit to develop an application which uses Sql
Anywhere as the database.
The issue is when i exit from the Server with disconnecting/terminating
connection the Sql Anywhere server crashes. There are no messages in the Sql
Server logs. This seems very unusual to me because the scenario for which
the application is being developed,it is likely the client might exit
without terminating it.
Is there any work around for this issue?
Any information in this regards would be helpful.
thanks in advance.
Regards,
Puneet

Please provide more detail so we can begin to help you. As a minimum we need
to know

- the version and build you are using

- your platform

- how you are starting the database server

- the sequence of calls your program is making leading up to the unexpected
behaviour

- the contents of the server logfile (-o)

- if there are any messages in the operating system logs (e.g. the event log
on windows*)
