I'm evaluation WS1.7.0 with a developers' license of ASE 12.5 which has
maximum connection limit of 5.

I'm only working on a single database and yet workspace pretty quickly
eats all of these connections and makes the product unusable for
development. For example, I can't debug a stored procedure because by
the time I get to that stage I have 5 connections active and debug wants
a sixth.

Is there a way round this?

Thanks

Gareth

BTW I just closed eclipse to free up the connections and it hung. Now I
can't log in to my database at all. I've not been in this situation
before. How do I kill those stale logins, without being able to login
to run kill?!

Gareth,

Yes, WorkSpace does take up to 6 connections when debugging a stored
procedure.

One option you have is to install the Developer Addition of ASE 15.0 that is
availible with WorkSpace. It is on the Developer Edition Servers Media. It
has a User Connection limit of 25.

Mike
