UK Sr Instructor - Location London

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

- To deliver standard and customised training courses and related services
to Sybase clients.

- To participate in the development and review of Sybase curriculum.

- To ensure UK readiness for delivery of the local curriculum.

- The primary responsibilities in addition to those of Instructor relate to
delivery of other education services (e.g. skills assessment) and internal
skills development as well as product development.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- As a Senior Instructor you are actively involved in a broad spectrum of
activities to include practice development, client and education project
management, and technical training delivery. You inspire clients and
instructors alike through your exceptional knowledge of Sybase education
services, skills assessment techniques and demonstrated superior instructor
skills.

- You will teach a wide range of Sybase courses, both entry level and
advanced level. You will be a focal point for new courseware development,
readiness and delivery. You actively seek out opportunities to assist other
Instructors in improving their performance.

- Your broad knowledge of the curriculum means that you are able to create
and deliver customised training to a variety of customers. You are able to
deliver many standard courses with little or no warning. In addition, you
are able to plan and deliver Master Classes at User Conferences and other
public events.

- You demonstrate an awareness of the financial objectives of the education
business, and how your actions contribute to the performance of SPS.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- Typically a Senior Instructor will hold a degree in one of the following
disciplines: information systems, computer science, engineering and/or
mathematics. Advanced degrees are not mandatory however they are considered
a plus.

- Generally, Senior Instructors will possess experience in the following
industries/disciplines: consulting, training, education, course development,
application development

- A Senior Instructor must achieve Certified Sybase Instructor status, and
may be a Master Sybase Certified Instructor.
