We downloaded the version of Appeon for .Net that was made available for
ISUG members and are having difficulty getting it to work. We have IIS
6 on Windows 2003 Server with the .Net 2 framework.

When running the configuration wizard within Powerbuilder 10.5, when we
try to test the connection it says it cannot connect to the application
server. My understanding is that the .Net application server is running
within IIS 6, and IIS 6 is running.

We tried the samples and they won't connect either. We're just trying to
connect to localhost. Is there something special we have to do in the
configuration?

We've gone through all the manuals, but they seem to mostly be referring
to EAServer rather than the new .Net stuff.

Thanks,
Trevor

It turns out that the .Net 2 framework was disabled within IIS and so
was the IIS user account - both apparently by default. It appears to be
working now.
