Hi Support Team,

my database SQL2005
install in Window 2003 operation system

And Appeon 5.0
connect using JDBC

my Charset for a connection cache setting as following:

database CP850 Client CP950 , after save HK Big 5 to database.
retrive back to datawidow is not correct.

but if i change the Charset database CP1252 Client CP950 for this same
connection cache,can show those HK Big 5 Chinese Character.

but when i using Charset database CP1252 Client CP950 to update the HK
Big 5 to database. can not view in datawindow.

Happy New Year!

I can't post my comments since the forum doesn't work on my
side since today.
Anyway, it's working now and my suggestion for you on this
case is try following settings in the AEM.

1. Database Charset: CP850

2. Input Charset: UTF8, BIG5, Big5_HKSCS, ISO2022CN_GB
(Please test all these suggested Charsets until finding a
proper one for the application.)
