Hello. I have installed the server 8.1 demo and it seems to be functioning
properly. I can't tell if my programs are using the server or not. This is
in an existing application where all the programs are written in Clipper,
using dbf and cdx files. I am wanting to test the performance impact of the
server to evaluate purchase.
So, I have two current questions:
1. How do I tell that my programs are using the server?

2. My data environment spans three directories. (one for each main
module of the system, like accounting and order entry.) How do I address
multiple data stores?

Thanks, Ken Baxter

I have this figured out. the programs needed to be recompiled to use ip
addresses instead of mapped drives.
