Hi all
Every now and again, my date field gets corrupted for no reason at all. Arc
shows that's corrupted and I don't know how to get the date back, has anyone
else had this problem?

(Win 2003 Server) ads server and clients 8.1.18.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rodd
My table is huge with sensitive data, I tried to export the 2 records that
have the <corrupt> in the DATE field, but ARC choked and crashed. Having
to go back to the tapes to read that one or two records is anything but fun.

regards

Thanks Rodd
I wish I could pin point the cause of the problem but it's so sporadic, by
the time I find out that a date has been corrupted, needless to say, users
have already been adversely experienced it. The last strand of my hair
will be pulled soon.

Also, we're in the process of acquiring a 64-bit server, have you had a
chance to beta test version 9, if so, what's your take?

Roger that!
Do ADS folks still give out a 2-user license free of charge?
Hopefully one is made available for ver. 9.
