I am trying to troubleshoot a 6420 error. I have confirmed UDP
communications. I was trying to use the ARC/tools/Environment check utility
to generate the Comm log file per the KB. First I get error 'Could not find
win32env.exe' .. I didnot find any Win32env.exe on any of my systems, but
did find it in a 1999 utility for 5.7 and clipper in tools downloads from
devzone. That gives error 'There was an error running the environment check'
. Obviously it is not the right version. Where is the right one? - Thanks

OOPs- Ads/Arc are 8.1. ADS on a XP sp2 box. Arc is on a wn2k box. Arc can
connect locally to data just not through ADS. Ports are set on both to 6262.

Hi Kendrick,

You need to modify the firewall on the XP box to allow UDP traffic to
Advantage on port 6262.
