Hi,

I am a bit puzzled by this connection parameters. Below are
the connection parameters I used.

//-------- FoR ASE-15 Connection

SQLCA.DBMS = "SYC Adaptive Server Enterprise"
SQLCA.Database = "FileServer"
SQLCA.LogPass = "123456"
SQLCA.ServerName = "DBServer"
SQLCA.LogId = "ctc_fs"
SQLCA.AutoCommit = False
SQLCA.DBParm = "Host='" + ls_compname + "'"
//

The above script works if I run my PB app on the same
machine as the Server. But does not work when I run from
remote. Any idea why?

//ASE-15 using ODBC
ls_title = 'CTCFileServer'
sqlca.dbms = 'ODBC'
sqlca.userid = 'ctc_fs'
sqlca.dbpass = '123456'
sqlca.AutoCommit = False
sqlca.dbparm = "Connectstring='DSN=" + ls_title +
"',ConnectOption='SQL_DRIVER_NOPROMPT'"

The script above works when I run from remote but always ask
for a password the first time I connect and every time I
double clicked on a datawindow row. Its not supposed to be.
Any idea why? What's the workaround?

Thanks,
Neil

Nevermind this post. I solved this already. Thanks.
