I am trying to connect from a laptop to a database located on a desktop
using a local server connection. The network is peer to peer. Advantage 8.1.
I get the database login, but that's as far as it goes. Next I get a "ap has
stopped working" message from windows(vista). I put the ads.ini &
adsLocal.cfg files in the windows folder. the folder on the desktop is
shared. The user is in the dd. What am I missing here?

Thanks for helping

Bruce
