we are doing some load testing on m-business 6.5 at the
moment and we are trying to send 2 intranet sites to a
ppc2003 device. Both intranet sites are around 20mb in size,
therefore a total of 40mb. Using a win32 client, it has no
problem downloading and displaying but when trying to push
to the PPC2003 device, just as it finishes saving pages to
the device, it will return an error that says it cannot
connect to the server. Is there a reason why it is failing
at the last moment? is there a maximum channel size you can
have for a handheld device. Channel size limit is already
been set to 50 mb on the web console and also within
sync.conf file. any ideas??

cheers

Alan

Hi Alan,

Which parameters did you modify?

We modify these:
SyncPref MaxTotalChannelsSize 22000

SyncPref WebToGoMaxTextSize 1024

SyncPref MammutMaxFetch 2000000

Then regenerate using defaults_setup.bat and restart the M-Biz services.

Cheers,

Shao
