Hi,

In WS 2.01 - I have one ASE database on one server where the
objects do NOT get loaded when I browse to it in the
Enterprise Explorer, even with a user with sa_role.

Is there a debug/trace flag or file that I can look at to
see what errors might be occuring?

Note that objects from that database still show up in
completion popups, etc.

Michael

Hi, Michael:

To see errors in WorkSpace, please open the error log via Window->Show
View->Other--> PDE runtime-->Error Log' to see if there's any Database
Development Tooling errors.

To see debug/error info in ASE server, The location of error log file can be
found in $SYBASE/install if you do not choose an alternate location during
installation. And do other ASE databases on that server get loaded? If only
this database is not loaded, the reason may be this database status is
offline. You can determine whether a database is offline by using sp_helpdb.

Not sure what the following means; also, can you provide detailed repro.
steps?
Note that objects from that database still show up in completion popups,
etc.

Thanks.

Thanks.

No errors found that could account for this...
