Hi,
I need to create a dw from a psr file. Very simple code:

dw_1.DataObject="c:\report.psr"
dw_1.SetTransObject(sqlca)
dw_1.Retrieve()

The code works locally, but in Appeon I get:

Failed to parse DataWindow description file c:\report.psr.
For more help, please consult the Appeon user document.

Obviously, the file is in place and
FileLength("c:\report.psr") gives the right size.

Any restriction in saving/importing PSReports! in Appeon?

I am not also able to execute

dw_1.SaveAs("c:\report.psr", psreport!, True)

but, again, locally it works fine.

Generally you can create an EAServer NVO, which supports
PSR, to create the PSR at the server and download it through
the Web browser to the client.
- Create an EAServer NVO
- The NVO contains PowerScript that will generate the PSR
file from the DataWindow and save the PSR file to the Web
server
- The NVO is invoked from the client side to download the
generated files via the pre-built Appeon functions
Fileupload and Filedownload.

Sally
