Hello,
I did the upgrade from ASa 8 to SQL Anywhere 10 and I am having some
problems with the INSERT made on existing primary keys from 2 sessions with
a single database connection.I developed a testing program and I found the
following behaviors:

1) I tried to make a connection to the engine 10 and make the insert without
the "ON EXISTING" clauses, without that the pronlem occurs.

2) I make a connection and I leave two parallel threads running, both making
the INSERT without the "ON EXISTING" clauses; at the moment the second
thread will be running and will make it's query it is verfied the
application crash.

3) I make the same test as described in the section 2, introducing the "ON
EXISTING SKIP" clause,in this way the problem does not occur.

4) Making the two parallel threads running, each one making its own
connection to the database and its INSERT, with or without the clause, the
problem does not occur.

5) I have performed the same tests as in the secton 2 and 3 with the 8
Sybase engine and the problem does not occur in any way.
