My company up until this year has utilized Intellisync to
manage a data collection application designed in Satellite
Forms, using Palm-based devices. This year we are looking at
switching to the Windows Mobile platform, and we are finding
that the latest version of Intellisync no longer plays well
with Sat Forms. OneBridge however was recommended on the Sat
Forms forums so I downloaded the eval to take a look.

I am having some problems figuring out how to get OneBridge
synching my Sat Forms app, however. Does OneBridge only
support Sat Forms for the Palm platform? When I go to create
a Client Database connection, if I have specified Palm I
have an option for Sat Forms in the Data Driver section;
however if I specify Windows Mobile I don't have a Sat Forms
option.

Oops, looks like maybe I stumbled upon the wrong group
without realizing, I'm actually using version 5.5 and not
any beta version. Apologies.

Hello Mike,

thanks for your question anyway. The latest version of
OneBridge, even version 5.5, does support synchronizing with
Sat Forms on Windows Mobile devices. Please download the
latest patch from the support portal, you should find a
chapter called "Satellite Forms Data Driver" within the
OneBridge help documents, simply open the Help file from the
OneBridge Connect Admin and type "Satellite" into the Index
search field.

The Windows Mobile Satellite Forms data driver synchronizes
data to a Satellite Forms PDB file on Windows Mobile 5
Pocket PC devices. This data driver requires the Satellite
Forms runtime Version 7.0.1.030 or greater.

Regards,

Johannes
