Hi everyone,
I use powerbuilder 11.1 Enterprise Edition and SQL Server
Enterprise Edition
I have problem while trying to create new DataWindow. I
choose Stored Procedure as DataSource. On Finish step i get
the error below.
"Cannot create Datawindow
'SQLSTATE = 22005
Invalid character value for cast specification'"

When i call the same stored procedure on SQL Query Analyzer
there is not any error.

Does the procedure have a datetime argument? If so, remove it temporarily
to create your datawindow and then add it back.

I tried another stored procedure that doesn't take a
datetime argument only takes an int arguement I get still
same error. But when i tried a stored procedure without any
arguments i completed new datawindow succesfully.
Any opinion?

Thanks for your help.

Have you included " StripParmNames='YES' " in your connection string?
