Can you and How do you use Modify to modify a text
attribute. I know that the following dot notation works.
dw_1.Object.dw_1[1].Object.t_1.text = "this works"

but dw_1.Modify(dw_1.t_1.text = "doen't work")

dw_1.getchild('dw_1',dwc)
dwc.modify('t_1.text="This~'l work"')

Which will not work either. "Nested" report - not composite. AFAIK, there
is no alternative.
