Using 188.8.131.52 (did not try it with 9.0), in local and client-server I was
getting an error 8026 followed by 7078, and can not establish a connection
with the dictionary or just open a table.
The problem was the share name had a period:
when it logged the error was like this:
instead of \\SERVER-OG\Sis.trafico\sis\aduanas\
In the client machine just was telling to no have enough rights to open the
file or dictionary.
In this case I have access to the server and detect the difference between
the logged path and the shared name, correcting the path; but in the most of
the cases I just receive the directory path to work and have no rights to
modify the share name.
Does this still happen in 184.108.40.206?
*the server is windows 2000.
