Right now , as far as I understand Worksapce DOES NOT support user defined
function for ASE 15 (although it was announced as the tool which should
provide the possibility to create, browse and edit UDF ).
My question is will the Workspace be the only tool which supports UDF,
or this functionality will be available later on in Sybase Central as well?

Hi, Andrew:

User-Defined SQL Function is a new feature in ASE 15.0.2. We will plan to
support it in WorkSpace 2.1. And Sybase Central will also support it in
ASE16.0 release.

BTW, although there is no wizard/editor support in WorkSpace now, you can
still write and run SQL scripts for UDF in SQL Scrapbook (ignore syntax
error warning).
