I am using PB 10.2.1

When applying a filter to datawindow and the first statement uses a LIKE the
filter fails

IE : grp_description = company LIKE '%PALM%' AND 'OA SUNNYVALE'

( Expecting TRUE/FALSE
expression)

When it is reversed IE: Group = grp_description = 'OA SUNNYVALE' AND
company LIKE '%PALM%'

alll is fine.

Any ideas why this would be so?

Thanks

It's a known issue that has been around for as long as I can remember. You
need to add parentheses around each section:
>>> grp_description = ( company LIKE '%PALM%' ) AND ( 'OA SUNNYVALE' )
