Afaria version: 5.5 SP1

On a HTC 730 mobile device i get this error message every time the device is
started "External non-device file(s) detected. file access not permitted" ?
I think this is the Afaria security manager there is finding some files on
the SD card that it don't like, so is there any one there has seen this
before

Thomas

Thomas,

Were files added to the SD Card after Afaria Security Manager encrypted the
files on theCard?

Do you have SP1 installed for Afaria and all the latest hot fixes? If you
do and continue to have issues, I recommend that you contact Afaria

Hi Christopher

My Afaria server is version 5.5 SP1 without any hotfix after SP1

I have now found the isues, it is because we have moved the IE temp files
from the device to the SDcard to save space on the device, some how this was
running just fine with HTC710 device without any isues, but now we have add
some HTC730 devices and is getting this error when the device is power on
and IE is not working very well on the HTC730.
So we have now changed the settings back to normal and all isues are fixed
(i think).

Thanks for your help
Thomas
