When I'm doing a SaveAs of a datawindow as Excel spreadsheet
the column headings change to lower case. The datawindow is
displaying them in upper case. Is there a way to prevent
this from happening or another option to take?

Thanks

SaveAs Excel saves the data source, not the layout of the datawindow.

What we did is wrote a service to do the export that loops through the
columns on the surface of the datawindow and applies their style to
the exported data.

There's also a third-party utility that handles exporting the layout
rather than the data.

MS Access?

You might speak with Sybase about allowing you to embed the datawindow
designer into your application. You won't be the first to ask for it.
And maybe if enough people ask for it, Sybase will actually make it
possible.

something like filemaker application, which possible easier design and
custom form by user without any programming experience ( not confusing
about field, table, etc ) and we may link the form to powerbuilder
application.
