PB 11.1, vista

I have an embedded datawindow with autosize height on.
A groupcalc() appears to cause the height of the embedded datawindow to incorrrectly calculate the height (makes it too small).
A sort() will set the height correctly.

anyone else see this?

FYI,
problem is on XP as well.

The sort() will break subtotals (groups are off), so this not a very good fix.
What I've done is check whether the detail band is autosize, and if it is then do a sort after a groupcalc().
If it is not, then I do the groupcalc after the sort.

this should correctly handle the majority of my reports; but not all.

It would be great to hear if anyone else has seen this, and whether you have a better work around.

Also, this problem does not appear in 11.5. Not sure if it was fixed in 11.2

Finally tracked down what I believe is the real problem and solution:
Problem is in the footer band. It has an embedded datawindow that has autosize height on it.
The footer is NOT autosize height.
Changing the footer to autosize height fixes this problem.
Doing this either in the datawindow object itself or via modify both work.
