In order to avoid confusing the Afaria users, we would like to let Afaria
client to do synhcronization background? It's important for the Client to
run automatically without popping the "connect" screen on a WM6/WinCE
device. Is it possible to do that?

Jencheng,
Yes. How are you launching the Afaria Client (via Client API, via
Client GUI, via XEC file, via ActiveSync?). You can hide client status when
using any connect method except manual connections from the Client GUI.

API:
Native code - AClientControl.ShowWindow = 0
Managed code - XemanagedClient.ShowWindow = false

XEC file: specify the "hide all messages" radio button when creating the
XEC File from the Afaria Administrator.

ActiveSync: select the "Suppress the Client UI when connection" option in
the Create Client Installation Wizard. Also, If Client has been allowed to
control the ActiveSync options, it can also be disabled from the Client GUI.

Thanks,
Chris
