I have just configured OTA and currently am testing the SMS
messaging push. I keep receiving the following error:

Exception Occured.(Exception from
HRESULT:0x80020009(DISP_E_Exception))

It seems to be a pretty generic error. Anyone else seen
this error before using OTA?

John

John,
A couple of things:
1. Did you verify that TCP port 25 is not blocked?
2. Did you verify connectivity to the Database and the OTA website
using the OTA publisher application? If you open the OTA Publisher from the
Start Menu shortcut on the Afaria Server, you should have two green check
mark icons on the bottom left of the screen. If you don't you don't have
proper connectivity/permissions to the dB and/or website.

Thanks,
Chris

Are you using Terminal Services (RDP/Remote Desktop) to connect the Afaria
Administrator? If so, try running directly from the console.

If you installed the Afaria Administrator via Terminal Services you will
need to uninstall via TS and then re-install from the console.
