Are there any tricks to using rowscopy with a dw that contains an identity column in SQL Server 2005?  Thanks in advance.

Mike

Are you having problems with the update, or with the RowsCopy itself?
I've never had a problem getting RowsCopy to work. And I always make
sure that my identity column is *not* updateable.

on the rows copy itself, let me check on the *not* updateable, may be that's
my issue.
Thanks.

Mike

RowsCopy should work, regardless of whether or not any of the columns
are identity columns or are updateable. Check the column specifications
for each datawindow. Make sure the columns are listed in the same order
and have the same data types and lengths. (The names need not be
identical... just the types, lengths, and order.)
