I would like be able to allow the selection of multiple base items in my
tree view using the ctrl or shift key while clicking on items. Is there
anyway to do this? Has the Tree View object been expanded with this
functionality in newer versions of PowerBuilder? I have seen the use of
checkbox to allow multiple selection but the ctrl or shift with the mouse
click is my preference.

You'll still will have to use checkboxes - combining that with keyboard is
just a matter of coding, take a look at the example (which checks the
checkboxes using the space key) that I numerously posted on these forums...
