I have one CDM and one PDM.

A CDM entity "Persons" can be --

Person_ID I <M>
Name VA30

A similar PDM, however, can only show --

Person_ID Integer
Name varchar(30)

PDM doesn't pull up and shows <M> in the model view even if
it's checked under Table Properties -> Column ->M
