Hi, everyone.

I have met a problem about crosstab dw. --PowerBuilder 9.0.3 Build 8836

My crosstab dw retrieve data from oracle 9i, but sometimes it doesn't work
right.

Just like the "right" picture in attachments, it's the correct result, all
data and the summary displays.

The problem is the Crosstab dw sometimes can't display all data. Just like
in the "wrong" picture, the last five rows and summary can't display.

And if the crosstab dw retrieve over 1000 rows, this problem occur
frequently.

How can I do with it? Please help me.

And sorry for my poor english.

For the same set of data does it always work? of might it display properly
one time and improperly the next for the exact same set of data? The answer
to that will help determine if it is related to your data set.

Is the crosstab contained within a container (eg composite DW) that is
cropping it?

Does this display all values in other builds of PB?

John

It looks like the height of crosstab is cropped and your seeing only a few
of the rows and no summary. Is the format static or does it dynamically
recreate on every retrieve? Regardless, if you are using the DW painter and
the first retrieve works correctly but subsequent retrieves of identical
data do not then there is a bug. I'd at least give it a shot with another
build to see if it is a build specific problem.

John

John, I have found a stupid solution to this problem.

The 1.jpg is a capture of dw painter, it displays improperly,
you can see the row count is 6164, but it only displays 6069 rows.

And then I resize the window, i find it displays properly.
You can see the result in the 2.jpg.

Thanks.

Sometimes it's simple, but hard to find. I'm glad you found the problem.

I think the last several rows and summary is just not displayed, because I
succeed in getting their rownumber with "find" function.
