Is it possible to check for a new row in a datawindow's
itemchanged event? If so how do you it. If not where else
and how can that be done.

Thanks,
Jon

GetItemStatus (row, 0, Primary!) would return New! or NewModified!
("row" is an argument of the event)

This works fine but when I make a change in a dddw on this
datawindow I get a status of notmodified. Is there a way to
find this out?

You mean adding a row to the DDDW itself? How about GetItemStatus on the
DataWindowChild?

In the ItemChanged event, the value of the column has not yet changed - that
happens when the event returns 0.
If you want to know if the ROW is new, you have to use 0 as the column.
