Hello,

is there anyway to select an item in a treeviewcontrol (like the
SelectItem()-function does), so
that you can see the selection even if the treeviewcontrol doesn't have
focus?

In my app it look's like this:

a treeview and beside a datawindow with almost the same rows.
On a click on the datawindow i scroll the treeview to the correct position
and select the item.

but now i want to use mousescrolling (wheel) to scroll down in the
datawindow, therefore the dw must have focus.
Setting the focus to the datawindow, the selection in the treeview
disappears.

(I don't want to solve this by the treeview pictures, because nothing is as
good to see as the highlightening)

Any chance?

Thank you for ideas
Martin

Just clear the "hide selection" property of the tree view control.

Thank you Jeremy,

sometimes things are quite easy! - that's it.

Of course, the color of the selection on losefocus turns from blue to gray,
but i know that's normal
windows behaviour, or is there even a way to keep it blue ...?
