I have a composite datawindow in which I want to change the
dataobject of a couple of the reports with datawindows that
I create dynamically at runtime. In the development
environment I use the LibraryImport to save the datawindow
to the PBL and the changing of the dataobject works fine.
When I deploy the application, instead of saving the
datawindow to a PBL I want to save it to a PBD. This works
fine but when I try to set the dataobject on the report I
get a R0039 message: Error accessing external object
property dataobject (incorrect syntax). I'm using the
following statement to assign the dataobject:
dw_prn.Object.dw_report_header.DataObject = Hdr_Temp
where Hdr_Temp is a string that defines the datawindow I
just created and saved. I tried using Modify and get the
same results. Is this possible? I hope that I'm explaining
what I'm trying to do properly. Thanks.

I think that syntax works for base/nested reports, but not for composites.
I think you'll have to get the handle of the report using getChild()
instead. Just a guess.
