I am attempt to configure and test the iAnywhere trial
software. I have successfully install a Lotus Domino server
and the iAnywhere server software.

The instructions I received were to use the proxy server
obp25.obproxy.com for this trial. On the server, it appears
to be connecting obp25, but when I attempt to configure the
iPhone a describec in the iPhone device user guide. When
the iPhone attempts to verify the IMAP account I first get a
message stating that I cannot connect user SSL, which I
allow it to a connect without SSL.

After some time, I get the error "The IMAP server
obp25.obproxy.com is not responding. Check your network
connection and that you entered teh correct information in
the incoming mail server field.

I am using obp25.obproxy.com for the incoming and out going
mail server. I am also using companyid:userid in the user
name field for each server.

I am not sure what the next step for solving this is, any
help will be welcome.

Hi Mark,

In response to your questions below on getting your iphone trial to work I
would like to know the following:

Which version of OneBridge are you using on your server? (i.e.
5.5.2008.0312)

Are you able to complete an adapter test on your OneBridge Server?

In your log viewer does it show that the Proxy has connected? Any errors
being reported?

When you say you installed a Domino Server where you also able to install
the client on the OneBridge Server and able to open the client and see
e-mail for the account that you are using?

Let me know the answers to the questions above and also if you could please
send me your configuration file so that I can see how it is set up.

The configuration file is located in the following directory on your
OneBridge Sync Server

\\Program Files\Extended Systems\OneBridge Sync Server\Date\Config Data and
is called Starter.xcf

Thanks,

Mike Gowey (mgowey@sybase.com)
