I use a treeview datawindow to show the structure of my company. If i rclick
on a node, i need to know on which row i'm( the first row in that group).
The argument row is 0.
How can i know the first child within my node ( rbuttondown event )

I need similar information.

put some code in the treeNodeSelected event...say

long ll_row, ll_gouplevel

ll_row = ROW
ll_grouplevel = grouplevel

it seems the ROW value is the first row in the detail band that corresponds
with selected tree level.

I wanted to know the value of the level I clicked on and was unable to get
that value, because like you the value of ROW was 0 in the clicked event.

I ended up putting the columns that stored these values of the tree in the
detail band as invisible , so I could reference them
this.object.<objectname>[row]

Treelevel dwo.name
1 level1_1
2 level2_1
3 level3_1
4 level4_1
detail level1,level2,level3,level4, plus all
the other detail band needed columns

let me know if you are able to access the values of the dwo of a particular
level
