In an farm Scenario where the Afaria Server is down and is
not possible to recover it.

It is posible to promote a slave server to beccome master
server , so we can recover de management od the entire
farm?? (Create, modify and eliminate channels)

Is there a documented procedure to do it ?

Thankyou,

Bolueta,
It is not possible to promote a slave (Replication Server) to become the
Afaria Server Farm Master.

In order to restore the Master you will need to have a few thing
backed-up on a regular basis. Attached is a summary of what must be done
in order to properly restore the Master:

As always, test this plan, before assuming every detail has been covered for
your specific environment

Thanks,
Chris
