i have several text boxes on a form that i want to be able to wrap the text in.
i can do it but i also want to display the dropdown arrow. the original code
uses the "useasborder = 'yes'" this shows the dropdown arrow but does not allow
the text to be wrapped. if i comment the code out the text is wrapped but the
dropdown arrow is no longer displayed until i click on the text box. any
suggestions?

So it sounds like you are using a DDDW or DDLB with AllowEdit checked. Try
checking "always show arrow". It should be visible all the time.
