Hi,
I am running Appeon 6 with IIS 6 (Win2003).
I was wondering if there is any good practice to run
deployed application at max speed with Appeon.
As far as I have seen it is possible to download the IE
ActiveX choosing between slow and fast connection. Then it
is possibile to cache objects in Document and Settings
instead of IE global cache, although this shouldn't really
effect the performance.
Any server-side clues to take into account to this purpose?
On top of everything obviously the application should be as
light as possible and for this the Appeon Developer comes
with the Heavy Windows Report, even tough I don't really
understand how it should be interpreted: all my windows are
highlighted as "heavy", even if the size of the produced .js
is only 3KB!
Thanks in advance,
Marco

Hi,

You can read more about the definition of Heavy Window at
Appeon Help |Working with Appeon Developer |Using UFA tool |
Working With Heavy Window Report | How a heavy window is
measured.

As for how to tune your Web application, I suggest you read
through Appeon Performance Tuning Guide to get more hints.

Regards
Sally
