Thanks in advance for reading. Any help would be
appreciated. We have a large Sybase 9.02 install base
spread amongst several hundred servers. We are trying to
get a better handle on our nightly backup, rebuild and
distribution jobs and would like to get all of this
information logged to the Windows event logs so we can have
a third party tool monitor in a "dashboard" type of
environment. It looks to me none of this information is
logged in the event logs. Is it possible to get this
information logged? Ideally we would like to get an event
log generated when the backup\rebuild\distribution job kicks
off and also when it completes with a status
(successfull\failed). I am not a Sybase expert but from the
looks this cannot be done natively. Is this the case? Any
help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
