Is there a way to limit the information on dbsrv startup log
file. I like to see the errors and warnings, but the
versions, license information required to be limited.

Please help!

Simon,

For SQL Anywhere 11 there are switches that control information:

-z displays diagnostic communication messages
-ze displays environment variables
-zoc displays web service client information
-zr {all|SQL|none} logs SQL operations

For limiting message:

-qp suppresses message about performance in the database server message windows
-qp suppresses startup errors in the database server message windows
-qw does not display the database server message windows
-qi does not display the database server system tray icon or the database server message window

There is no way of suppressing licensing information and basic information in the message windows.

Thank you, This is to satisfy a customer who thinks it is a
vulnerability.

Not sure why your customer thinks that the database server console window displaying licensing
information is a vulnerability. If you want you can completely hide the console window.
