Hello, good day PB Masters!

I'm hoping for your suggestions....

You know when you're typing an email address in MS Outlook
in the To: column, a list of similar email addresses comes
out...
I dont know what they call it but anyway, for you to delete
an item on that list, you simply have to select/highlight
the item on the list then press the Delete button, I was
hoping to do something like that using the DDDW, would it be
possible or would I have to consider other approaches..?

Thanks in advance.

G'day;

There is a PFC DDDW service that can do that for you. If you are not
using the PFC - you can still look at the code and emulate it in your
application. It basically uses the EditChanged event and the user event
mapped to "pbm_dwkey" to get low-level control on what is happening at the
time of the drop.

Many thanks for your reply.

Could you tell me what PFC object? I can't seem to find it
in my PFC.

Thanks again.

Its the DDDW service object. I am not sure exactly what component that is
but have a look at the PFCDWSRV.pbl and then open the
"pfc_n_cst_dwsrv_dropdownsearch" object. I think that is where the service
handles that. The calling (redirection) to the DDDW service should be in the
DW Control (PFCMAIN.pbl => u_dw)
