I'm getting an odd SQL error. The SQL value is:

SELECT "tbl_event"."event_id", "tbl_event"."event" FROM "tbl_event",
"all_games" WHERE ( "tbl_event"."game_id" = "all_games"."id" ) and ((
"tbl_event"."event" = ~'3PTFG~' ))

The ERROR is "Cannot convert 3PTFG~ to a unsigned bigint". It shouldn't be
a bigint, "tbl_event"."event" is a string.

Any ideas?

1) I'm running PB 11.1 Build 8123. The database is on ASA 9.0.
2) The dw has the event field as char(64)

Can you rerun this with PB database tracing enabled? To do so, add TRACE
to the DBMS entry as in

sqlca.DBMS="TRACE ODBC"

You will be prompted as to the location and name of the file. Please
reproduce the error and then post the log that is generated.

Found the problem... I was using the following code to check the SQL
statement. Once I did away with it everything worked fine. I have no idea
why it caused the problem it did.

SQLCA.SyntaxFromSQL(sql_syntax, "", ERRORS)
